Hey Taste-Explorers,

an avocado week without an avocado toast? – Impossible. So today I show you my two favorite variations. One is with salmon, the other one is Italian style with tomato mozzarella.

What you need:

1 slice of toast  IMG_6475

½ avocado

50g smoked salmon

¼ lemon

salt

pepper

 

1 slice of toast

½ avocado

½ mozzarella

½ tomato

1tbsp of green pesto

¼ lemon

salt

pepper

 

 

How to:

For the salmon avocado-toast toast the bread. The avocado is crushed with a fork and season it with the juice of a lemon, salt, and pepper. Spread this mixture on the bread.

Over the crushed avocado place the salmon and finished is a very delicious avocado-toast.

 

For the mozzarella-tomato toast spread about 1 tablespoon pesto on the toasted bread. Cut the mozzarella and tomatoes into thin slices and place on the bread. Then you can top the mozzarella with the remaining pesto.

Cut the avocado into very thin slices. Take care that the individual slices don’t move during you cut them. Now fan out the thinly sliced avocado. Curl this long fan to create a spiral with the shape similar to a flower.

Squeeze the lemon over the bread, salt and pepper are sprinkled over it and the bread is ready.

 

 

Ps: Instead of white toast you can also take a dark bread. This is richer in fiber and more filling than a white bread.
