today’s recipe is really easy, but perfect for a dessert, a present when you are invited or just to satisfy your cravings!

What you need:

1 kg plums

50g sugar

1 cinnamon stick

peel of 1/4 orange (just the orange part)

5 cloves

10 ml dark rum

50 ml water

 

How to:

Wash the plums, take out the seed and cut each one into 4 pieces.

Put the sugar in a pot and let it caramelize. Add the plums, water, and the spices. Let it cook for 45 minutes until all plums are really soft and the juice gets a little thicker.
